A TIME TO GIVE

It’s that time of the year again. A time when people roll out the drums to celebrate a king that rules forevermore.
Many people experience what is called ‘season.’
The hairstylists have their hands full because their customers want to look their best.
Transport companies have a hard time coping with the crowd of travellers who want to travel home to celebrate with their folks. Most especially my Ibo brothers. I was almost stranded at the motor park on my way home to celebrate with my mum. Some people also travel outside the country.
And the transport fares do not remain the same.
Prices of almost every item that the eyes can see do not remain the same.
And one wonders: What is the motive behind all this?
This season of the birth of the eternal king, the Christmas season should be a time to give.
The king whom we celebrate gave his life to save humanity.
When we give during this season, is it sacrificial?
Giving is a means of conquering greed. When you give, especially with pure motives (not expecting anything in return) material possessions lose power over you.
Do not withhold what you should give.
It’s a season to share.
Give, Give and Keep Giving!
Merry Christmas to all my wonderful readers who make me excited to put my thoughts together.
