A MASTER CLASS LOVER

He watched them as they stood before him and he could barely control his emotions.
So this was reality indeed happening before his eyes! His dreams had become real. And he introduced himself and asked them a revealing question.
‘I am Joseph. Is my father still alive?’
This story in the book of Genesis chapter forty-five is that of a boy sold into slavery by his brothers. And that same boy forgave them and gave them an inheritance in a land where he had found prosperity.
Pastor Nike Adeyemi while preaching from this passage earlier today called Joseph a MASTER CLASS LOVER.
Then she asked another thought provoking question.
‘If you are in Joseph’s place, what will you do? If you find yourself in a position where you can deal with your enemy, what will you do?’
Helen was walking down the corridor of her hospital when a patient was wheeled in and she rushed to the theatre to attend to him.
As his face was revealed to her, she gasped in shock and felt a choking sensation.
For lying there on the operating table, helpless and practically at her mercy, was Hector.
The man who brutally raped her many years before.
She had two options.
To give him an injection that will kill him quietly. After all, accidents happen on the operating table
Or to do her duty as a doctor according to the Hippocratic oath she had taken and save his life.
Helen chose the better option. She took the highway of peace and did the operation that saved Hector’s life. And she went a step further to write off his bills.
Another Master Class Lover. I define it as someone who has an exceptional capacity to love.
It has been said that, ‘To err is human and to forgive is divine.’ Forgiveness does not reside in the abode of humanity but in divinity.
Ask God for the grace to be a MASTER CLASS LOVER.
